This free printable Spring Exterior Maintenance Checklist will help you plan out and keep track of all the tasks you need to do to prepare your home’s exterior for the warm weather!
The birds are chirping! The flowers are (finally) blooming! At Chez Gallagher, that means it’s also time to dust off our spring exterior maintenance checklist and begin the process of checking off tasks, one by one.
And when it comes to transitioning from the winter to spring season here in Northeast Ohio, that list of tasks can be quite daunting. It means breaking out the power washer to tackle our beast of a deck:
But it also includes fun tasks such as bringing all of the planters out from storage and filling them with gorgeous plants and flowers:
Free Printable Spring Exterior Maintenance Checklist: An Organized Transition to Summer
Because the list of tasks we tackle each April through May is so extensive, I’ve created a Spring Exterior Maintenance Checklist to use each year so that nothing falls through the cracks.
I always get a wee overwhelmed when it comes time to make the transition from winter to spring, knowing that there is so much to do outside. But having a comprehensive list to use as a planning tool helps us to spread out the work load over the course of several weeks, which reduces the stress.
Today, I’m sharing my checklist with those of you who also have a massive exterior To Do list.
Because I know that your maintenance list might look very different than mine, I’ve also created a blank checklist that you can modify (online as an editable PDF or print out and write on) to create a custom checklist.
Choose which version works best for you!

Hopefully these pretty spring exterior maintenance checklists can help you to get your spring to summer transition ducks in a row this year, and in years to come.
Do you have a standard checklist that you use to transition your home from one season to another? Tell me about it in the comments!

We don’t have a specific list for spring cleaning, but my husband did just clean all the windows this past weekend. I think the boredom got to him and he had to do something! Thanks for sharing and linking up with me.

I don’t have a annual list but really should make one. Your list is a great idea. But right now ours would mostly include which tree to cut down and clear out. Thanks so much for sharing. #HomeMattersParty
